Very Large Vintage French Stoneware Confit Pot - Pale Glaze
I have become quite the expert on French confit pots over the years. I use them for pretty much everything…utensils, flowers, lego pieces, bottles of suncream! The list goes on. I’m always on the look out for the more unusual pots and this is very pretty indeed.
This particular colour and glaze is very hard to find and I’m constantly on the look out. It is particularly chic and I adore how the handles sit tightly against the gorgeous curves. It’s just lovely. In fantastic vintage condition with solid base and no horrible cracks or mends. There is a tiny chip on the rim but hardly noticeable.
This large size is perhaps too big for utensils etc but would be wonderful full of flowers and tall stems on a hall table or large windowsill. It’s really quite a show stopper.
