Trechslin was a greatly admired botanical artist best known for her books on flowers, particularly roses.

The lithographs are are all originals and are from a set of printer’s proofs which were made for the book “Roses” published in 1961. What makes these prints particularly special is that they were never part of the bound book and so stand alone as individual pieces of artwork.

Each rose has its name and number printed on the reverse. There are sixty roses in the collection so if you’re interested in purchasing a few, please drop us an email. We have just one of each. We can also offer international shipping by arrangement.
