Enamel Pie Dish
I don’t know about you but I rather favour a round pie. Obviously I’ll happily eat a pie baked in other shapes too but when I think of pie I think of it baked in a round enamel pie dish. This is another of my Homeware Heroes and is possibly the only brand new enamel pie dish I’ve ever owned as all my others are vintage…or should I say, well used and well loved. There’s something really wonderful about serving a hot apple pie (other pies are available) in a bright white enamel dish and the little handles make it even prettier.
It’s not a huge dish but will hold a pie for two very happily indeed. I also use mine as a serving dish for mashed potatoes, greens or just about anything I feel is deserving.
Looks even better with one of our ceramic Bird Pie Funnels popping out of the middle too.
Dimensions: H5 x Diameter 18cm
Crafted in vitreous enamel onto a tough Japanese steel base
Suitable for use in the oven
