Vintage French Enamel Coffee Pot
I have been collecting enamel coffee pots and jugs and well, anything enamel really for a very long time. There is something tactile as well as beautifully functional about enamel and even more so when it’s used and aged and loved. This is the quintessentially perfect French coffee pot, it’s the most wonderful shade of green (almost blue) with dark green edges, a very pretty spout and all its original components present and correct.
I wouldn’t necessarily trust it as a coffee pot….there is a bit of rust on the strainer part….but it has no leaks and so makes a perfect vessel for flowers as well as just being a very happy addition to any room.
The pot stands 22cm tall with its lid and has a diameter of 13cm.
These pots are becoming increasingly hard to find in such good and complete condition so I’m very pleased to be able to list this one in the Curiosity Shop.
