Plant Tuscan Hand Painted 18 piece Tea Set
I find tea sets wonderfully nostalgic and comforting. I still have a tea set which belonged to my granny and reminds me of her every time I look at it. I’m not sure I give it nearly as much attention or use as it deserves but perhaps it’s just happy being loved and admired and having a little rest.
This is a very pretty 18 piece bone china tea set from Plant Tuscan (1930s) which is not a maker I know much about but plan to learn more. Each cup and saucer and plate is hand painted with the prettiest and daintiest flowers and in the most fabulous colours. It’s really very lovely indeed. One of the cups has a small chip and another a hairline crack but all the saucers and plates are in excellent vintage condition save for some fading here and there. The price reflects the condition.
