Antique Ornate Tureen
I have been holding back on this as it is just too beautiful for words and looks far too at home on my dresser. But I’ve had lots of enquiries about antique tureens and so it feels wrong to hide it any longer.
There is no maker’s mark on this aside from an “IMPERIAL” stamp in blue on the base and a number. I have searched high and low to find more information and I have a feeling it may well be Wedgwood but I cannot be sure.
Regardless, it’s a charming, antique piece with no chips or cracks and there’s something about the light shade of blue and delicate pattern which makes it very special indeed.
Length from handle to handle 30cm, width 18cm and depth 7cm.
