Burleigh Blue Calico Milk Jug
Without a doubt this is one of my all time favourite Burleigh patterns and one I have collected for many years. I eat from my Blue Calico dinner plates every single day and I have mix and match collections of side plates, teapots, jugs and all sorts! The Calico pattern is completely timeless and is wonderfully nostalgic whilst being perfectly modern too. It works both as an everyday piece as well as for more formal occasions and never gets boring.
This milk jug is really very pretty and is a good size at 13cm tall / 10 cm diameter across the top. This is a vintage piece and has been used but looked after with no damage or fading. Burleigh no longer make this particular shape of milk jug so it’s a rather lovely one to add to a collection.
And have a look at the teapot and cake plates too as all together they make a very pretty picture indeed.
