Vintage Green Enamel Candle Holder
I’ve never been very good at things that match. Particularly when it comes to tableware accessories. Obviously a set of plates and a set of glasses is always a sensible place to start but when it comes to candlesticks, I prefer a colourful mismatched array of enamel to add the finishing touch.
I have always collected these little enamel candle holders. I find them irresistibly charming and I love imagining the life they’ve led before they ended up with me. They come in all different shapes and sizes and colours and some are really very special indeed. This one is the most wonderful shade of minty green. It really is trying very hard to pull every single heart string and it’s working. I also have a thing for yellow but of course you can use any candle you like….even matching ones.
